GPS Satellite Compass from Raytheon

The new Anschuetz Satellite Compass uses GPS signals to produce ship's heading Information. It can be used as a compass sensor for repeaters, radar's, electronic chart systems, Automatic Identification Systems (AIS), scanning sonar's, and TV-antennas.

The new Satellite compass Standard 21 GPS is stabilised by turn-rate gyro, any interruption or shadowing of GPS is compensated by inertial navigation.
